The Bible: Is fully God inspired, authoritative, and is the ultimate standard of truth by which all religious opinions should be tried.
God: We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. God the Father is the creator of all that exists; He is revealed through His Word (the Bible) and through His coming to Earth in the form of man, as Jesus Christ the Son of God. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed super-natural miracles, willingly gave His life on the cross for all of mankind, was resurrected three days later, and ascended to Heaven where He resides at the right hand of the Father. The Holy Spirit is the helper Jesus promised to His followers that indwells them, convicts them, comforts them, and empowers them to follow Him.
Eternity: Jesus is preparing a place in Heaven for those who receive Him as Savior and Lord. Those who reject Jesus as Savior and Lord will be separated from Him forever in Hell. Salvation is the eternal life gift of God that cannot be earned by our own efforts. Salvation from sin and Hell can be received by trusting in Jesus for forgiveness, turning away from our sinful nature and turning toward God.
The Church: The church consists of all those who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. Directed by Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit, it is the church’s responsibility to care for each other and to bring the good news of salvation to the world.
